Liability Statement

Participation in the Community Doula Network is voluntary for both Doulas and the clients they serve. Community Doula Network Doulas serve as independent entities from the Community Doula Network. As a Community Doula Network Doula, you agree to provide prenatal and birth doula support at no cost to Community Doula Network clients. 

The Community Doula Network is not legally responsible for any services provided by the Doula, as the Doula serves as an independent entity. We are NOT a doula agency, we are simply connecting independent doulas in the community who are open to supporting birthing people in need. Doulas are strongly encouraged to carry their own liability insurance. If you have questions about this, please contact us and we would be happy to share more information about securing professional liability insurance as a birth doula.
